Christopher L. Butler III AKA C.L. Butler is an African American poet, historian, scholar, and entrepreneur raised in Philadelphia and based in Houston, TX. In 2017 his poem "Laissez Faire" was published by the University of Houston-Downtown Bayou Review. In 2019 he published research with the Journal of International Relations and Diplomacy. C.L. has been writing since he can remember and is eager to share his poetry with the world. W.E.B DuBois, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Sean Carter, Nasir Jones, Langston Hughes, Edgar Allen Poe, and Alain Locke are his sources of inspiration.
